Elena Jane Goulding

Elena Jane Goulding (born December 30, 1986), better known by her stage name Ellie Goulding, is an English singer-songwriter. She became only the second artist to be named the number-one predicted breakthrough act of the year in the BBC's annual poll of music critics, Sound of 2010, and become the recipient of the Critics' Choice Award at the BRIT Awards in the same year, following Adele's win of both in 2008. After signing to Polydor Records in 2009, she released her first extended-play recording in 2009, An Introduction to Ellie Goulding, and her debut studio album Lights followed in 2010. Her album went on to debut at number one on the UK Albums Chart and sold over 380,000 copies by the end of 2010.
Her musical style has been compared to that of Kate Nash, Lykke Li, Tracey Thorn, and Björk.

Ellie was born and brought up in Hereford, Herefordshire, the second of four children. She began playing the clarinet and writing songs at the age of nine, and at fourteen began learning guitar. She started songwriting at the age of fifteen and while in college she won a singing competition.
After commencing a drama course at the University of Kent, where she was exposed to electronic music, she developed her sound with the help of Frankmusik on the track "Wish I Stayed", and Starsmith, who went on to become her chief collaborator and primary producer of Lights. After two years at Kent, she was advised to take a gap year to pursue singing, and moved to West London.
She is a keen runner, running six miles every day, and in 2010 admitted plans to run a marathon. In support of her second EP, Run Into the Light, she invited a small number of fans through her Facebook pages, to run with her in seven different cities on her UK tour, and has announced that she will be doing the same across Europe and the United States. A website, EllieRuns.com, was launched in support. Goulding's keenness for exercise has given her what is considered to be an impressively athletic physique

Marilyn Monroe Porn Film Discovered

Marilyn Monroe is not someone that everyone is expected to have a sex tape.

However, a collector plans to auction what he claims is a newly discovered 8-mm version of a film purportedly showing Marilyn having sex when she was still an underage actress known as Norma Jean Baker.

Event promoter Mikal Barsa said in a press conference that the film was shot sometime between 1946 and 1947.

Barsa had previously commercialized the only other copy of this film, which surfaced in 1997 and was sold to a private collector for $1.2 million in 2001.

Back then, controversy sparked over whether it was Monroe who appeared masturbating and having sex with an unknown man. At the conference, Barsa mentioned documents from the FBI investigating the origin of the film, and a set of jewelry worn by Monroe in the film that is the same as what she wore on other films and photos she did around that time.

With a starting price of half a million dollars, the item will be the highlight of the first Buenos Aires Film Collecting Fair, which will take place between on August 6th and 7th at the Borges Cultural Centre.

Devin Star Tailes

Devin Star Tailes (born July 2, 1989), better known by her stage name Dev, is an American recording artist. She was discovered by The Cataracs when she made an Amy Winehouse cover and posted it onto MySpace. Dev's song "Booty Bounce" was sampled in Far East Movement's hit single "Like a G6" which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, and sold over two million downloads in the country. Dev was signed to Universal Republic in October 2010 and released her first official single, "Bass Down Low".

In 2010, the Cataracs produced "Like a G6" with Far East Movement and decided to use a verse from Dev's single "Booty Bounce" as the chorus. The two songs were made in the same summer, at the time where Dev and the Cataracs "were grinding it out in the studio pretty tough together," making a couple of "simplistic random tracks." "Like a G6", which features the Cataracs and Dev, was released in April 2010, and reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song went on to sell over two million downloads in the US.

Dev's electro style and "sing-talk" vocal style have been compared to fellow pop singer Ke$ha. Dev responded to this, saying, "I'm confident enough in what I do that people will see me for who I am ... I get why people compare us but once people see me live they won't connect us as much." While comparing her to Kesha, Idolator wrote that "Dev's beats come off a bit more mellow and her songs a little bit more electro than pop." In response to being compared to both Ke$ha and Uffie, Dev said, "I just feel that I have a lot more to say and the ability to have an eclectic sound, a very diverse pop album. I'm not bashing either artist, but I'm going to be able to give you a little bit more than what you've heard on those records. When my album comes out, hopefully I won't have to hear another reference or comparison." Much of Dev's music is inspired by hip hop, as she believes that fans respond to "pop music but with rap roots". She said, "I've always been into hip-hop. Eminem changed my life when I was younger." The Hollywood Reporter compared her "futuristic" and "pulsing" sound to underground electroclash musicians Peaches and Yelle. Dev's musical genres have been cited as electro-crunk, electropop, and electro hop.

Chang Sung-taek

Chang Sung-taek, (born 2 February 1946; alternatively Jang Song-thaek) is a North Korean politician and the brother-in-law of Kim Jong-il. He is a leading figure in the North Korean government, and South Korean government officials and academic North Korea watchers suggested that he may have taken on de facto leadership over North Korea due to Kim Jong-il's ill health. Chang is currently Vice-Chairman of the National Defence Commission, a position considered second only to Kim Jong-Il.

He is concurrently director of the State Development Bank, director of the Taepung International Investment Group and director of the Taesong International Group.

Chang was born in Kangwon-do. He graduated from the Kim Il-sung Senior High School before leaving for Moscow, where he studied abroad between 1968 and 1972. Upon his return, he married Kim Kyong-hui, the younger sister of Kim Jong-il. The couple had a daughter, Chang Kum-song (1977–2006), who lived overseas in Paris as an international student; she refused an order to return to Pyongyang and then committed suicide in September 2006, reportedly due to Chang and his wife Kim's opposition to her relationship with her boyfriend.

Chang was formerly an instructor to the Pyongyang Party Committee, and later the vice director of the Workers' Party of Korea's Organisation and Guidance Department since 1982, being first assigned to youth policies and then to capital city construction. In 1989 he was co-opted in the WPK Central Committee as an alternate member, and promoted to full member in 1992, when he was also appointed first deputy director of the Organization and Guidance Department, with responsibility over security activities.

Chang had been identified by outside analysts as well as North Korean defector Hwang Jang-yop as a possible successor to Kim Jong-il; however, on 25 November 2004, South Korea's National Assembly heard testimony that he had been purged from his position.

He re-emerged in March 2006, accompanying Kim Jong-il on an official visit to China. In October 2007, the Korean Central News Agency confirmed that Chang had been promoted to the newly recreated post of first vice-director of the Workers' Party of Korea, with oversight responsibility for the police, judiciary, and other areas of internal security; Jang attended South Korean president Roh Moo-hyun's luncheon during the latter's visit to the North. It was later revealed that Chang had been actually appointed director of the Administration Department, an old agency of the Workers' Party abolished in 1990 and re-created by splitting the Organization Department.

Chang was elected to the powerful National Defence Commission in April 2009; this was viewed as a signal that he could be a potential successor to Kim Jong-il.

In June 2010, in a session of the Supreme People's Assembly, Chang was elected as a vice-chairman of the National Defence Commission. The NDC is North Korea's de facto supreme decision making body. Thus Chang's promotion amounts to something of a executive deputy role, second only to Kim Jong-Il. It is speculated that the move was part of posturing to make Kim Jong-Il's son Kim Jong-un the next leader of North Korea. Chang's position in North Korean politics was also ostensibly boosted by the death of Ri Je-gang, a senior leader who was tipped by Kim Jong-il as a crucial overseer of the succession campaign.

Later, at the WPK Conference held in September 2010, he was appointed alternate member of the Politburo and confirmed Administration Department director at the first meeting of the Party Central Committee after 17 years.

Sean Kingston Now in ICU After Florida Jetski Crash

Hip-hop singer Sean Kingston has been stabilized and moved to the intensive care unit at a hospital after crashing his watercraft into a Miami Beach bridge, his publicist said.

Kingston and a female passenger were injured when the watercraft hit the Palm Island Bridge around 6 p.m. Sunday, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokesman Jorge Pino said.

Authorities are investigating the crash, and "nothing at this point would indicate that alcohol played a role," Pino said.

Kingston rose to fame with his 2007 hit "Beautiful Girls" and was also featured on songs by artists including Justin Bieber. His self-titled debut album sold over 1 million copies worldwide.

On Twitter, Bieber posted a message of support for Kingston.

"Got my friend Sean Kingston in my prayers tonight," Bieber tweeted early Monday. "A true friend and big bro. Please keep him in your prayers tonight as well."

A number of hip-hop musicians were in Miami Beach over the weekend for Urban Beach Week.
In a 2007 interview with The Associated Press, Kingston described his music as a fusion of reggae, pop, rap and R&B.

"It's Sean Kingston genre. I have my own genre," Kingston told the AP at the time. "No disrespect to no artist or dudes out there. I feel like I am my own person. I am doing my own thing."

His music has been unique among hip-hop offerings, as Kingston refused to use profanity.

"To put it in my music, that's not the message I am trying to send out," he said in the 2007 interview. "That's not the type of artist I am trying to be."

Sarah Michelle Gellar Back On CW

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Rachel Bilson are each getting a new series on the CW network this fall.
Gellar’s “Ringer” was a gift from CBS. The larger network made the pilot but could find no room on its schedule, so CBS gave its corporate sister this series where the former “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star impersonates her twin sister because she’s on the run from danger.
The CW also said Thursday that Bilson, who was in “The O.C.,” will portray a New Yorker practicing medicine in a small Southern Town in “Hart of Dixie.”
“Smallville” is ending its run on the CW, and the network is canceling “Life Unexpected” and “Hellcats.”

Gaga Beats Ophra On Forbes Celebrity 100 List

Lady Gaga topped the list by Forbes Celebrity 100 leaping over Oprah Winfrey. Lady Gaga beat Oprah this year because of her social media power. She can use Twitter and Facebook to work the 'little monsters' into a frenzy that leads to record sales and media attention. All those Little Monsters helped her sell 1 million digital downloads of the title track from the just-leaked Born This Way in five days. They also bought MAC makeup, Monster headphones and Virgin Mobile phones that were endorsed by Gaga (and featured in her videos). Her Monster Ball tour grossed $170 million from 137 shows; she's sold 15 million albums worldwide and has endorsement deals with Polaroid, Monster Cable and PlentyofFish.com. Also, a Russian billionaire reportedly paid $1 million to appear in the "Alejandro" video.

Forbes editor Dorothy Pomerantz told Reuters. "She's the best example of how celebrities will need to manage their careers in the coming years."

Charlie Sheen Reacts To Ashton Kutcher As The New Cast Of "Two And A Half Men"

Currently, Charlie Sheen reacted to the news that Ashton Kutcher is joining the cast of the TV show "Two and a Half Men."

"Ashton Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer. Oh wait, so am I," Sheen said in a statement to Access Hollywood on Friday, after the news was confirmed by CBS and Ashton himself.

Sheen went on to wish America the best in his statement, but slammed the behind the scenes players over what he considered to be a lack of loyalty.

"Enjoy the show America, Enjoy seeing 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB. Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton. There is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there," Sheen's statement to Access.

As earlier reported on AccessHollywood.com, Ashton was announced as the new addition to the "Two and a Half Men" cast on Friday morning.

Heidi Montag Says She's Definitely Done With Plastic Surgery

The 24-year-old reality star Heidi Montag made headlines for her numerous plastic surgery operations. But now, Montag says she's done with cosmetic procedures.

"Obviously when I get a little older, I'll take it from there, but for this moment, I don't want anything to do with plastic surgery!" Montag told Us Weekly Wednesday at the Lemon Basket opening in West Hollywood.

So the girl who famously got nose, cheekbone and chin jobs, an eyebrow lift, breast enlargement and fat injections is really done with plastic surgery? "Definitely -- for now."

In April 2010, Montag admitted to Ryan Seacrest that there were drawbacks to her surgeries. "I'm very weird about hugging people now -- [my body] is very fragile." She also said because of her now size "E or F" breasts, jogging or intense physical exercise was out of the question.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" Star Alexis Bellino Admits She Has Eating Disorder

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" mom of three Alexis Bellino isn't shy about flaunting her fab figure in revealing outfits and tight dresses. But now the reality star reveals that she hasn't always felt confident about her body and is coming clean about the eating disorder that's been plaguing her since age 12, right around the time of her parents' divorce.

"I just didn't want to eat," Bellino says in the new issue of Life & Style. "Looking back, I think it was my way of controlling something at a time when everything else in my life was out of my control."

By the time she entered college, she had become bulimic and didn't get medical help until her first marriage fell apart in 2002. Bellino credits her current husband, Jim, who she married three years later, with helping her finally kick the calorie counting. "He loves my body," she says. "In fact, he says he likes me about five pounds heavier."

The 34-year-old -- whose weight fluctuates between 118 and 122 pounds -- admits she still has issues with food and typically eats less than 900 calories a day. (What happened to not counting calories?)

"It's not like I'm healed. This haunts me. Sweets are my weakness. I'll serve everyone else dessert, but I'll pour salt and pepper all over mine so I don't eat it," explains Bellino, who talks more about her eating disorder on this Sunday's episode. "I try not to let my weight consume me, but an eating disorder is a lifetime disease. It cannot be cured, but it doesn't have to be practiced. My goal is to reach other women -- and let them know that they can conquer it."

That sounds like the right idea, but a 5'7" woman who's only eating 900 calories a day probably needs to seek more help for herself before she can serve as an example for others.

Lady Gaga: A Pop Culture Expert?

Since she's a music icon herself, Lady Gaga clearly knows a thing or two about pop culture. That's why V Magazine has given the 25-year-old singer her own monthly column.

In her debut piece -- which appears in The Asian Issue -- the pop star writes that, "Glam culture is ultimately rooted in obsession, and those of us who are truly devoted and loyal to the lifestyle of glamour are masters of its history. Or, to put it more elegantly, we are librarians." She continues, "I myself can look at almost any hemline, silhouette, beadwork or heel architecture and tell you very precisely who designed it after them, and what cultural and musical movement parented the birth, death, and resurrection of that particular trend." This is just an excerpt from Gaga's long-winded entry, which continues on for two full pages!

In fact, the woman born Stefani Germanotta takes over V's entire issue, from the three-headed Lady Gaga cover to her interview with Elton John about her concern for Japan.

Of course, appearing in the mag isn't only about increasing her star power. Ten percent of profits from the sale of the issue will go to help the embattled country Gaga loves so much. "I have such beautiful memories of Japan and its people," the "Born This Way" crooner tells John. "And when the earthquake happened, I knew saying something just wasn't enough. The little monsters have raised over $2 million purchasing these prayers bracelets I made myself. Let's connect cultures from around the world and rebuild this beautiful country."

No Ordinary Family And Three Other TV Shows Were Cancelled By ABC Network

On Friday, ABC network announced it was canceling Brothers and Sisters, No Ordinary Family, Off the Map, V and Mr. Sunshine, EW reports. Mr. Sunshine's cancellation comes at a particularly difficult time for its star Matthew Perry; the actor checked into a rehab facility on Thursday to "focus on [his] sobriety" and quipped: "Please enjoy making fun of me on the world wide web."

Last month, the network announced that two of television's most iconic soap operas -- All My Children and One Life to Live -- would not be returning after this season.

Annette Funicello Taken To Hospital After House Catches Fire

Disney's most beloved Mouseketeer -- Annette Funicello -- was taken to a San Fernando Valley Hospital as a precaution Thursday morning after fire swept through her home in Encino, California.

Los Angeles firefighters responded to a large, single family house fire, according to Los Angeles Fox TV station KTTV. The house was badly damaged, as huge holes in the roof could be seen from an overhead helicopter. KTTV reported that people were seen removing Funicello's mementos from the home.

The 68-year-old Funicello -- who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1987 -- is famous for her run on the Mickey Mouse Club in the late 50s, as well as her appearance in a number of beach-themed films from the 60s such as Beach Party, Muscle Beach Party, Bikini Beach, Beach Blanket Bingo, How to Stuff a Wild Bikini and Pajama Party.
